About us
Moth and Rabbit is a luxury niche perfume brand with an experimental approach founded in Berlin in 2016 by Elke Filpes and Christian Choi, with an ambition to translate stories and emotions into olfactive products and experiences.
All the work of Moth and Rabbit is about creating products with a deeper sense of meaning and value that aid in human expansion and provide access to a deeper understanding of our society and smell in general. We believe that in order to create a new awareness for fragrances in the minds and hearts of the modern consumer, the creation of fragrance must begin by looking towards new olfactive inspirations that expand the meaning and the role that fragrances play in our lives. Exceptional filmmakers, artists and individuals who tell unique stories through their body of work serve as an inspirational brief to the perfumer, who translates exceptional stories into exceptional perfumes.

Products & Services
The symbols for Moth and Rabbit is to tell stories through perfumes.
Under the direction of Elke and Christian, M.A.R. has released 13 unisex perfumes so far, each thrillingly unique and totally different.
The olfactive stories revolve around the portrayal of the contemporary society.
Exceptional filmmakers, artists, … who explore its ideas, movements or absurdities in their body of work serve as an inspirational brief to the legendary perfumer Mark Buxton, who creates an exclusive olfactive product out of his personal response to the body of work.
By including the packaging into the equation, the olfactive stories are told through a multisensory experience. Translating the ingredients into short word plays, they not only give the packaging physicality that is both visual and narrative, but also enable the ingredients to tell their own stories. In other words the narrative and the olfactive products dialectically help to construct, transform and reproduce each other over and over again
